Filigree traces its roots back to 1850 when Mr M Browne founded his lace making company in Draycott, Derbyshire. In the 1920's the company’s directors included Sir William Hicking, Sir Ernest Jardine and Sir Stanley Birkin - all doyens of the traditional Nottingham lace industry.
Today Filigree has the leading brands in the sheer curtain market - Filigree, Bonfab and Stiebel of Nottingham. It also provides own brand products to leading retailers. The technical, design and sourcing skills have been developed over many years to enable Filigree to offer a wide range of sheer curtains in knitted lace and woven voile. Filigree also offer a custom made service through its Filigree Finesse brand and a distinctive range of heavy drape fabric curtains.
